Practical exploration of Shenwutang™ diet and diabetes non-drug intervention
Suzhou Shenwutang Health Management Co., Ltd. Sun Li
【Abstract】As a high-incidence metabolic chronic disease, long-term blood sugar fluctuations can induce multi-organ complications. It is difficult to improve the metabolic roots of the body with simple drug control. Non-drug nutritional intervention has become an indispensable part of the whole process of diabetes management. Based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine diet and nutrition, Shen Wutang™ takes medicinal and food ingredients of the same origin as the core, follows the principle of discrimination and administration to build an exclusive diet and nutrition intervention plan for diabetes, combines traditional diet and nutrition wisdom with modern metabolic nutrition,
and carries out the practice of diet conditioning for chronic diseases. In combination with the practice of Shenwutang™ food and maintenance service, this article explores the intervention mechanism, application path and actual value of the diet and maintenance model in the diabetic population, and analyses the difficulties and optimisation direction in the process of practice. Research shows that standardised and individualised Shenwutang™ diet intervention can help improve sugar metabolism, reduce insulin resistance, and regulate intestinal microecology. It can be used as a safe and effective non-drug intervention in the comprehensive management of diabetes, helping to steadily control blood sugar and improve the quality of life.

【Discussion】The core pathological feature of diabetes is glucose-lipid metabolism disorder. Long-term unreasonable diet of high-calorie and high-carbon water is the key trigger for inducing and aggravating blood sugar abnormalities. Modern clinical management emphasises diet control, but ordinary dietary guidance is mostly limited to the total amount of calories and carbon water. There is a lack of personalised conditioning plans for the differences in the patient's constitution, and the patient's compliance is generally not high. Shenwutang™ diet and nourishment system integrates the theory of traditional Chinese medicine constitution identification and modern nutrition. It does not simply limit staple food, but selects low-glycemedic medicinal food ingredients of the same origin according to different constitutions of diabetic patients such as qi deficiency, yin deficiency, phlegm and dampness, etc., and follows the idea of matching. While controlling the sugar load of the diet, it also takes into account the spleen. Yin,
dispel moisture and fix the original, and improve the metabolic imbalance in the body. From the perspective of the modern mechanism, the active ingredients such as polysaccharides and flavonoids in the selected food substance can delay the absorption of carbon water, improve insulin resistance, reduce chronic low-grade inflammation, and achieve multi-targeted regulation of metabolic disorders. In the practical service, Shenwutang™ supports meal guidance, lifestyle education and regular follow-up, forming a closed-loop intervention model of "constitation assessment - diet plan formulation - dynamic monitoring - program adjustment". There are still some challenges in practical implementation. Some diabetic patients are not clear about the positioning of diet and mistakenly replace glucose-lowering drugs with diet; individual eating habits are very different, and it is difficult to adhere to the diet plan for a long time; the relevant long-term queue data in the real world still needs to be continuously accumulated, and the
standardised intervention process needs to be further improved.
【Summary】Shenwutang™ Food and nourishment is a beneficial practice applied to the traditional
medicine-food homology theory in the management of chronic diseases of diabetes. As a non-drug intervention, it cannot replace glucose-lowering drugs, but it can be coordinated with clinical treatment. This model jumps out of the simple sugar control thinking, starting from the level of physical conditioning and metabolic repair, helping patients stabilise blood sugar and improve the sub-health state of the whole body. In the future, Shenwutang™ food and nursing needs to continue to accumulate clinical practice data, improve the standardised intervention system, strengthen science popularisation, clarify the boundaries of food and nursing application, and guide patients to use it
scientifically. Promoting the in-depth integration of diet and clinical chronic disease management can provide a set of implementable and individualised Chinese-style diet solutions for the whole-cycle health management of diabetes.
